Marguerite H. Haefeli

Born in Easton, PA, Marguerite resided in Westfield for 39 years before settling in Toms River 14 years ago.

Prior to retiring, Marguerite was a Registered Nurse at Rahway Hospital in Rahway and later worked at Dr. Sprowls & Beauchamp in Rahway.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Gerard Andrew Haefeli, in July 2013; and by her brother, Kenneth Mitchell Johnson.

Surviving are her children: Dr. Kathleen (John) Jones of Orwingsburg, PA, Patricia (Hon. James) Heimlich of Long Beach Island, Marguerite Bowdish of Brick, Annette (Alan) Hergert of Westfield, Bernadette (Thomas) Harney of Brick, and Michael (Sondra) Haefeli of WV; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Luke’s RC Church, Toms River on Monday at 9:15am. Interment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
