Marguerite Snyder

Marguerite Snyder, 95, passed away October 4, 2016 at Fountain View Nursing Home in Lakewood, NJ. Mrs. Snyder was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Watchung where she spent most her life before finally settling in Lakewood for the past 32 years. She was a graduate of N. Plainfield High School. Marguerite worked for Accurate Bushing in Clark for many years as an Inspector. She was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a volunteer at the Ocean County Animal Shelter. Mrs. Snyder was an avid music lover, gardener, traveler, knitter and animal lover. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Snyder is predeceased by her husband William and son Eugene W. Snyder. Marguerite is survived by her daughter Edith M. Mingari, granddaughter, Lisa Brophy and her husband Thomas J., grandsons, Joseph J. Mingari and Michael T. and his wife Nancy A., great grandchildren Ella M. and Andrew G Mingari and daughter-in-law, Diane E. Snyder. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Basking Ridge, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Marguerite’s memory to the Ocean County Animal Hospital.
