Maria lived a long and beautiful life. She was born in Formia, Italy, and came to the United States in 1950. She first lived in Queens, New York, before moving to Jackson, New Jersey, in 1962, where she raised her family and remained for 61 years.
Maria found great joy in singing, cooking for her family, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and her daily devotion to praying the Holy Rosary. She will always be remembered for her strength, kindness, warmth, and the love she gave so freely to her family.
Maria was predeceased by her parents, Gaetano and Giuseppina Merenna, and her beloved husband, Frank V. Bartolini Sr.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her beloved daughter, Lucia; her sons, Anthony and Frank V. Bartolini Jr.; and her daughter-in-law, Tanya Bartolini.
She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Joseph Bartolini; Alicia Trejo and her husband, José Trejo; Sophia Bartolini; Cassidy Bartolini and her husband, Alex; and John and Samantha Bartolini. She also leaves behind her great-grandson, Charles Bartolini, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, August 31st, at D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 1st, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Visitation, 730 Lynnwood Avenue, Brick, New Jersey. Committal Service will travel to St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery & Mausoleums, Massachusetts Avenue, Toms River, NJ, 08755.
May she rest peacefully, knowing she was deeply loved and will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will never be forgotten.
