Marie Bartone

Marie Bartone, age 91, passed away on Thursday July 22, 2010 at Bartley Health Care in Jackson, NJ.

Born and raised in the Ironbound section of Newark NJ; Marie lived in Springfield, and Brick for the last 14 years before moving to Jackson 7 months ago.

She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Anthony of 61 years in 2002, her son Anthony in 1994, 4 sisters Theresa Donnelly, Concetta DelliSanti, Josephine DelliSanti, Antoinette Quelli, 2 brothers Frank and Dominic DelliSanti. She is survived by a daughter Joann Portella of Lakewood, NJ; 3 brothers Larry DelliSanti of Union, NJ; Pat DelliSanti of Elizabeth, NJ; Angelo DelliSanti of Rahway, NJ; 2 sisters Rose Lawson of Berkley Heights, NJ; Catherine Connell of Jackson, NJ; and two grandchildren Christopher and Gina.

Visitation will be held Sunday July 25th from 2 to 6 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave; Lakewood, NJ 08701. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday July 26th at 10:30am St. Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood, NJ. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
