Marilyn J. Miller (nee Lippincott) 92, died at Centra State Medical Center on Sunday, Jan 13, 2019 after a short illness surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Harold and Frances Lippincott on March 10, 1926 in Asbury Park and spent her childhood and most of her adult life residing in Neptune City, before moving to Leisure Village, Lakewood in 1993. Marilyn was predeceased by her first husband, Carney F. Infanto, in 1962 and her second husband John A. Miller, in 2001.
Marilyn graduated from Asbury Park High School and was previously employed as a bookkeeper for the Jersey Coast News Company, Asbury Park. In retirement she helped care for two of her grandchildren while their parents worked. Also, she and her husband John were avid travelers and visited 48 of the 50 United States in their motor home.
Marilyn was an active member of the Neptune City Memorial United Methodist Church for over 85 years, joining the church as a young child with her parents.
Marilyn is survived by her two children, Karen Ryder of Toms River and Mark Infanto of Jackson. Marilyn leaves a lasting legacy with four cherished grandchildren, Courtney Ross, Jordan Ryder and his wife Andrea, Jennalee McLvor and her husband Matthew, Amanda Dombrowski and her husband Brian and two beloved great-grandchildren, Reagan Ross and Lily Ryder.
She will be terribly missed by everyone who knew her. Marilyn will always be remembered for her love of family, her church, her generosity and her always cheerful personality. She lived her life with joy and enthusiasm. Her family loves her more than they can express, she was a beautiful and inspiring soul and a thoughtful and caring mother.
