Mary Kubala

Mary Kubala, 104, passed away January 10, 2014 at Green Acres Manor in Toms River. Mrs. Kubala was born in Slovakia and immigrated to the US when she was sixteen and lived in New York City during the Great Depression. During her time in New York she started her beloved family with her husband Anton. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Kubala is predeceased by her husband Anton in 1960. Mary is survived by her children, Anthony Kubala, Eleanor Hospidor, and Edward Kubala and his wife Linda, grandchildren, Lynn Carrelha and her husband Joseph, Camilla Seyglinski and her husband Jeffrey, Elizabeth Gregory and her husband Robert, and John Kubala and his wife Carrie, great grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Tyler, Noelle, Daniel, Christopher, Lindsey, Chase, Thomas, Ann Marie, and Alise, great great grandson, Mason and sister, Pauline Burke. Friends may call Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 1-5 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10:30AM at the St. Luke’s Church in Toms River. Interment will take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Perth Amboy, NJ.
