Mary Ann Napatano

Born in Paterson, she resided in Haledon before settling the Fairways at Lake Ridge Community of Lakewood in 1998.

Prior to retiring, she was a Claims Examiner for the State of New Jersey, where she worked for over 30 years.

Mary Ann was involved in many clubs at the Fairways, including the Women's Club, Garden Club, and many others. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and entertaining, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Pasquale "Pat" and Josephine.

Surviving is her loving husband of 39 years, John Thompson; a daughter, Linda; a brother, Pat, and his wife Grace; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6PM at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10:30AM at St. Luke RC Church, Toms River. Interment will be at 11:30AM on Tuesday at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Ann's name to the American Cancer Society.
