Maureen T. Daly, 80, passed away August 18, 2018 at Fountain View Nursing Home in Lakewood, NJ. Maureen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, later moved to Ocean County NJ before settling in Lakewood, NJ. She was a communicant of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Brooklyn, NY. Maureen was a member of the Lakewood ELKS. She loved to travel, play cards with her sister on Saturdays, take Atlantic City Trips and her true passion in life was spending time with her loving family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all.
Maureen is predeceased by her husband John “Pat” Daly, son Paul Daly and brother, Peter Darcy.
Maureen is survived by her sons, John and Glen, grandchildren, Michael, Chris and Patrick, great grandchildren, Ella and Kylie and siblings, Philip Darcy and his wife Susan, Patricia McNamara and Michael Darcy and his wife Lenore.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10:30AM at St. Mary of the Lake Church, Lakewood. Interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood, NJ.
