Born in Neptune, he resided there before settling in Lakewood for most of his life.
Prior to retiring, he was a Cargo Loader for Jersey Coast Egg Company in Lakewood.
Mr. Curtis was very involved in the Lakewood Volunteer Fire Co. #2 and devoted much of his life to it.
He is survived by his sister Mary Arneth and her husband Michael of Beachwood; 3 nieces and 4 nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00AM at D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood.
