Decades of memories: New Jersey, boating, brunching, conversations, weddings, Florida, Punta Cana, and Virginia, to name a few. You were an absolute one of a kind, free-spirited, feisty Mombo who loved her family and friends very much. It was a blessing and many times just plain fun being in your company these many years. You always made me feel as one of the family and I will cherish that the rest of my life. Love you and miss you.

From the day I met her, I called her mom. Or more affectionately, MOMBO! That’s how she made me feel, like family. She was gracious, and generous beyond measure. She was the proverbial hostess with the mostest. She thrived on entertaining and making you feel welcome. There are way too many (22+yrs worth) and accolades to mention. Rest in eternal peace and may God hold you in the palm of His hand until we meet again.

On behalf of the Nansemond River Power Squadron, we join in remembering Kim's mom. We enjoyed visiting with her when she was with us in Suffolk, VA. Her love for the water was easily noted and we enjoyed sharing that love. RIP.

Pete, Kim, Tom and Kyle,
I was so sorry to hear about Pat, but seeing the wonderful photos brought back many fond memories of visiting all of you at the shore. Pat said, "You aren't a guest here, you are family so make yourself at home and don't wait for anyone to wait on you." From going clamming and fishing for bluefish to sitting out on the porch it was always fun to be with all of you. And to think the first time we came out that I was asking 'what is there to do in New Jersey?' You are in our thoughts and prayers and I hope you have many smiles too. Jeff

Pat treated me like family. Pat and her husband took me to the Carribean with her family. It is a week I will always remember. So special. Thanks again Pat.
