

Paul DuBois, 82, of Lakewood, NJ passed away April 18, 2012. Born in New York on August 1, 1929, he was raised by Dr. Phebe DuBois, one of the first female physicians in America. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edith, his daughter Karen DuBois-Kahn and grandchildren Joshua and Emily Kahn. Paul grew up in Manhattan and Atlantic Highlands. He loved and owned cars of all kinds. He was an international businessman and also owned and operated a limousine service. During retirement, Paul learned to sail and was involved with the New Jersey Sailing School. His favorite sail was in the BVIs. Paul served in the Navy, and will be honored with a military burial.
There will be a private burial April 27, after which the family will receive guests at their residence in Lakewood from 6-8 pm. A Memorial service will take place May 7 at 2 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Englewood, 150 Palisades Avenue, Englewood, NJ. The family will also receive guests that day from 6-8 pm at his daughter’s home in Tenafly, NJ.
