Peter David Chester

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Peter lived in Jackson his entire life.

He was a self employed Fence contractor for 25 years. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and the Moose Lodge both of Jackson, NJ; and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

Pre-deceased by his brother Michael J. Chester Jr. in 1995. He is survived by his two daughters Chelsea, and Britney both at home; his daughters mother Cathy of Wall, NJ; his parents Barbara and Michael of Jackson, NJ; 3 sisters Barbara Ann Eisenstein and her husband Richard of Howell, NJ; Karen Kash of Freehold, NJ; Debbie Goodwin and her husband Wayne of Jackson, NJ; a sister-in-law Stacy Chester-Benish of Cinnaminson, NJ; 9 nieces and nephews and his many many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday December 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave; Lakewood, NJ 08701. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday December 23rd at 10:00am at St. Aloysius Church 935 Bennett’s Mills Road Jackson, NJ 08527. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery Lakewood, NJ.
