

Born in Brooklyn, he resided in Island Park, NY before settling in the Lake Ridge Community in Toms River 22 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he was a Customer Service Representative for Brooklyn Union Gas Company, where he worked for over 40 years.
Robert was active in the Lake Ridge community and enjoyed bowling and softball. He was also a member of the Knights of Colombus and was the first president of the Lake Ridge Clubhouse Committee.
He was predeceased by his brother, William in 2012.
Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years, Margaret; a son, Robert Kenneth, Jr. and his wife Joette; a daughter, Laura Louyot and her husband Bertrand; a daughter, Susan Habenicht; and 3 grandchildren: Kevin, Victoria, and Glenn.
A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6PM at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10:30AM at St. Mary of the Lake RC Church, Lakewood. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
