Robin Jean Fessler

Robin Jean (nee Connito) Fessler, age 59, has made the journey from her life on earth to life in heaven. She went on to be with Jesus on September 15, 2014, joining her parents Marilyn and Emanuel Connito. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Marc Fessler, adored daughter Jennifer Morris, son-in-law Christopher Morris, her cherished grandson, Walker Morris, loving big-brother Mark Connito, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-laws. Robin was born on July 2, 1955 in Jersey City, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of the Jersey shore. She grew up in Jackson and Brick. She was a graduate of Brick High School where she was a color guard. Robin and her husband raised their daughter in Lakewood before moving to Mayetta, NJ. Robin and her husband also spent part of the time at their home in Jensen Beach, FL. Robin was a selfless, giving, thoughtful woman whose family was her world. She made friends instantly because of her overwhelming vibrant spirit and love of life. Robin was a talented roller skater in her youth. She passed this talent on to her daughter. Robin will always be remembered for her tireless dedication to helping her daughter achieve success as a skater. The friends Robin made at skating were some of her closest and dearest friends; she fondly referred to them as her skating family. Robin also had a family at the First Presbyterian Church in Tuckerton where she spent the last few years serving the Lord and the community. She was especially proud of her efforts in helping the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Besides her family and friends, Robin's loves included: decorating, visiting model homes, party planning, singing, dancing, going to the movies, eating good food and cheering for the Miami Dolphins. Most of all, she enjoyed shopping with her daughter. Her daughter will continue their Black Friday shopping marathons in her honor. Friends may call Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 11AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Ocean County Memorial Park, in Toms River.
