Romaine Doris Schaeffer

Born in Newark, she was raised in Keansburg and lived in Howell for 43 years before settling in the Renaissance community of Manchester 13 years ago.

Prior to retiring, she was the owner and proprietor of Kennedy’s House of Brides in Howell and ran the store for 30 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard & Doris Kennedy; and by her brother, Brian Kennedy.

Surviving is her loving husband of 25 years, Robbie; her former husband, Trevor Daniel, Sr.; 5 sons: Trevor Daniel, Jr. and his companion, Deanna Mosley, Shawn Daniel and his significant other, Sharon Risden, Brian Daniel, Brian Schaeffer and his wife, Natalie, and Michael Schaeffer and his wife, Katie; and 8 grandchildren: Sean, Michael, and Kevin Daniel; and James, Jack, Robert, Patrick, and Hayden Schaeffer.

Romaine loved to entertain friends and family. Most importantly, she loved traveling and enjoying family vacations. When at home, she was very active in the Renaissance community and involved in a number of different clubs.
