LAKEWOOD – RONALD G. CALABRO died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. He was 82. Born in Bronx, NY, he and his wife Lee resided in White Plains, NY, New Fairfield and Greenwich, CT and Bayville, NJ before settling at Harrogate in Lakewood 6 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1994, he was self-employed as a CPA, having received his Bachelor’s Degree from Manhattan College and his Master’s Degree from Pace University. He was a cherished husband, father, and grandfather and will live in our hearts forever. Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years, Lee; 6 children: Lenora Hilleary and her husband Brian of Stafford, VA, Ronald and his wife Susan of Hawthorne, NY, Denise McGeary of Milford, CT, John and his wife Marie of New Canaan, CT, Christopher and his wife Susan of Cincinnati, OH, and Robert and his wife Andrea of Newtown Square, PA; 12 grandchildren: Keri, Robert, Jennifer, Lisa, Christopher, Stephen, Nicholas, Daniel, John, Amanda, Olivia and Melissa; and a great-grandson, Jason. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 8:15AM at D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, followed by a 9:15AM Mass of Christian burial at St. Luke’s RC Church, Toms River. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
