Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Joseph and Rose Palmeri.
She married her husband, Peter, in 1951 and later moved to Bloomfield, New Jersey, where they raised their five children.
Her children were her life. She later became an office manager for a pediatrician. She spent her retirement years residing at Four Seasons, where she loved going on trips and especially enjoyed visiting Atlantic City.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter; her son, Michael; her sisters, Tina Antas and Carol Cocuzza; and her beloved brother, Paul Palmeri.
She leaves behind her children: Joseph (Doris), Gail Hagen, Peter, and Paul (Jennifer); along with six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Renate Palmeri.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at D'Elia Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 am, and interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
