Rose P. Smith

Rose was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Queens, NY before retiring in Florida in 1984. She later moved to Lakewood NJ in 2017 to be closer to her family.

Rose is predeceased by her husband; Harold Smith and her daughter; Betty Anne Hannon.

She is survived by her daughter; Patti Wilder, her grandchildren; Glenn Wilder (Laurie), Scott Hannon (Kellie) and Brian Hannon and her cherished great grandchildren; James (JP), Jonathon, Christian, Sam, Michael, Tommy, Mackenzie, and Curtis.

Rose was an avid newspaper reader, considered herself a patriot and above all else she had the biggest heart, she was always giving and caring for those in need. Her family will miss her dearly, but her memory lives on through them.

Memorial contributions in Rose’s memory can be made to Grace Healthcare Hospice.

A Memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, July 20th, 2025, from 2:00pm – 4:30pm at D'Elia Funeral Home. A Memorial Service begins at 4:30pm at Delia Funeral Home; 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
