With great sadness, we are sharing the passing of Rosemary Hottinger, a long time resident of the Fairways, who passed away while surrounded by her family on Saturday evening, August 30th. Rosemary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Rosemary held a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph’s College and a Masters Degree in education from the College of Staten Island which she leveraged during her career as a dedicated teacher for the NYC Board of Education.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Carl, their sons, Carl, John and Peter, their wives, Kamal, Grace, and Barrie. Carl and Kamal’s sons, Matthew and Timothy, John and Grace’s daughters, Kate and Meredith, and their husbands, Kevin and Ross, and Peter’s children, Nicole and Daniel, and his wife Victoria, and two great grandchildren Alexia and Roman. She loved spending time with her family and was elated when she became a great grandmother.
