Ruth H Karol

Mrs. Karol was a homemaker. She met her husband Fred while square dancing, and it was a hobby they both enjoyed for years. Ruth enjoyed traveling, spending time at her home in Ocean City, NJ, & visiting Atlantic City, NJ. She was an avid reader and needlework enthusiast. Mrs. Karol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

Grandmother of the late Spencer Karol, she is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frederick J. Karol; her 3 children & their spouses, Cindy A. & Mike Czahor of Lacey Twp., NJ, Mark J. & Roxanne Karol of Fair Haven, NJ & Donald F. & Heidi Karol of Irvine, CA. 2 sisters, Ann Billard of Venice, FL &, Joyce Campbell of Chatham, MA; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Charlie, Matthew, Robert, Kevin, Rebecca, Sean, Skylar, Sheridan, Simone, Celia,& Simone,& a great grandchild, Bobby Allen.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rt. 70 & Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am at the Hope Presbyterian Church, 617 Hope Chapel Road, Lakewood, NJ 08701 with the Rev. Barbara Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at the NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.
