Ruth V. Kircher

Ruth V. Kircher, of Jackson, NJ, passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on December 24, 1940, Ruth was a loving mother to 10 children and a devoted matriarch whose family was her greatest accomplishment. She took immense pride in raising her children and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and warmth.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband; Joseph Kircher Jr, her children; Donna Vilani, Beth Ellen Hack and Carl Kircher.

Ruth is survived by her children; Joseph Jr. and his wife Adele, William, Sharon, Darlene, Fred, George, Melissa Lakatos and her husband William. Her grandchildren; Lindsay, Ashley, Tracy, Alan, Jennifer, Kristina, Joseph, William and Grace & her great grandchildren; Bella, Emerson, Elliette, Mia & Aiden. She is also survived by her sister; Liisa and brother in law Charles as well as other extended family and friends.

Ruth was an avid reader, a passionate gardener, and loved a good shopping trip. She had an infectious love for animals, particularly cats. Ruth's kindness, generosity, and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorial donations in her memory be made to the ASPCA, a cause close to Ruth's heart.

A visitation for Ruth will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 12:00pm - 2:00pm at D'Elia Funeral Home; 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. A funeral service will take place at 2:00PM at D'Elia Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park; 1722 Silverton Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753.
