Sandy Nochimson, 92, of Toms River passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, then married and moved to Colonia, NJ, where she raised her family and upon retirement moved to Toms River, NJ.
While living in Colonia she was a librarian and a very active member of her Temple. She then later worked at Hermans World of Sporting Goods in the accounting department until retirement. She played mahjong weekly with her girlfriends and was a diehard Yankees fan but her family was always first and foremost.
She was predeceased by her husband Sid in 2000. She is survived by her daughter Gwen, her son Marc and his wife Sandi, and three grandchildren; Rachel, Danielle, and Brittney.
