

Sharon grew up in St. Louis, where she attended Ashland Elementary school. Throughout her life she, was known for her dedication, strong work ethic while spending many years at the Vocational Rehabilitation Center making a lasting impact on the lives she touched.
After residing in St. Louis for many years, Sharon moved to Brooklyn, NY with her parents and her middle brother Deacon Ricky Dean who served as her caregiver for serval years. Sharon was especially close to her nieces and nephew and will always be remembered for her unwavering dedication to everything she touched. Her warmth and laughter brightened every room.
While in Brooklyn, Sharon reconnected with New Hope Pentecostal Church of the Lord Jesus Christ under the late Pastor Simmons and later under Pastor Timmy Lomax.
Sharon’s life was one of care and service, and quiet strength. Upon moving to Jersey under the guardianship of her sister Pamela Edmonson Dean, she began her journey in childcare in 2017 and later became CPR certified. She attended a day program for seniors at the Jackson New Jersey Senior Center and was a faithful member of the Jackson Baptist Church. Sharon also proudly participated in the Commission for the Blind for one year.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; Arthur and Margret Dean and her siblings; Rose Reed, Cathy Ann Dean and Arthur Dean Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory loving siblings; Shelia Lewis her twin, Ricky Dean, Brenda Johnson, Stephen Dean. Pamela Dean Edmonson, Leona Holliday and Roxanne Clary along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held at Jackson Baptist Church, located at 360 Bennetts Mills Rd, Jackson Township, NJ, 08527, on November 1, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow at the same location on November 1, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
