Born in West Moreland, Jamaica, he came to the United States in 1989, settling in Lakewood.
Surviving is his loving wife of 17 years, Cynthia; 2 sons: Miguel and Jamar; a daughter Megan; a step-daughter Silvia and her son DeAnthony; his mother, Ethlyn; 2 brothers: Wilmot and Avoton; 3 sisters: Anita, Panzey and Elita; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
