Stewart Margel

Stewart was born in Modeno, Italy on August 26, 1947, and he was the son of the late Bernard and Anna Margel. Stewart was raised and was a longtime resident of Brooklyn, NY, and he later resided in Howell, NJ for 15 years, prior to moving to Lakewood in 1996. Stewart was a retired computer operator who worked with the Beth Israel Hospital in New York, NY. He enjoyed collecting German beer steins, unique coins, eagles and woodworking.

Father of the late Paul Margel, and brother of the late Susan Chait, Stewart is survived by his beloved wife, Florita; a daughter, Andrea Odian and husband Mark, two sons, David Margel and his wife Cathy, and Andrew Margel; a stepson, Elztner Patonog and his wife Cherryl; a brother, Leonard Margel; a niece, Laura Karen; and a nephew, Jack Chait.

Funeral services for Stewart will be private. He will be laid to rest in the BG William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
