Teresa M. Nidds

Born in Newark, she and her husband Bob raised their family in Colonia, NJ before settling in the Four Seasons Community of Lakewood 20 years ago.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert, in February 2015. Prior to his passing, Terri was his devoted wife and caregiver for many years. She was incredibly family oriented and put others before herself. Terri enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. She looked forward to the community bus trips to New York for Broadway plays and to Atlantic City. Her interests included opera and watching Sunday football.

Terri saw humor all around her and entertained friends and family with her stories. Social and fun-loving, she enjoyed being with her family, friends, and grandchildren above anything else. She will be truly missed.

Surviving are her loving children: Janice & Rich Passer, Gary & Heidi Nidds, and Cheryl & Chris Dickscheid; seven wonderful grandchildren: Cooper, Lachlan, Justin, Oliver, Violette, Colin & Ray; a sister, Phyllis Veliky; and a brother, John DiGeorge and his wife Lorraine.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30AM.
