Theresa Roeseler

Theresa Roeseler, age 93, of the Leisure Village East section of Lakewood, passed away at home on Monday, April 18, 2011. Born in Hoboken, NJ, she was a former resident of Kearny and Lavallette before relocating to Lakewood in 1997. She was a former order clerk for Worthington Pump Co. in Harrison, NJ. Theresa was predeceased by her husband of 54 years Paul A. Roeseler in 1990. She is survived by her children, Paula Lembo of Brick, NJ, Michael Roeseler and his wife Agnes of Lanoka Harbor, NJ, and John Roeseler and his wife Valerie of St. Augustine Beach, FL; a brother, Anthony Stoia and his wife Olive of Hemet, CA; a sister, Marta Massa of Lakewood, NJ, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of The Visitation, 730 Lynnwood Ave., Brick, NJ 08723. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park.
