Thomas A. Patchell

Thomas was born in New York City, NY on 4/17/1928, born to Thomas F. Patchell of New York City and Edyth A. Ricchezza of Philadelphia, and was raised in Philadelphia, PA. Thomas was a graduate of Germantown High School in Philadelphia and received his undergraduate degree in Bachelors of Engineering from Villanova University and his Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Thomas is a retired employee of DA-Tech Corporation of Ivyland, Pennsylvania. Thomas is predeceased by his first wife, Margaret McGarvey Patchell, son Michael Patchell and daughter Jeanne Patchell. Thomas is survived by his current wife of 16 years, Dorothy Horner Patchell of Toms River, NJ and his daughter Maureen Nunemaker of Kutztown, PA, his sister Jeannine McGarvey Mulholland of Marlton, NJ and his one Niece and 6 Nephews, his step children Kenneth Horner and wife Patricia, Nancy Horner Kerrigan and husband Michael, and Thomas Horner of Berwyn Heights, Maryland. Thomas was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood, NJ.Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4PM to 8pm at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. A funeral Mass will take place 10:30AM Thursday at Holy Family Church, 1139 East County Line Road, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery located in West Conshohocken, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania 19428-0012.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Thomas’s memory to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, 1501 N.W. 9th Avenue/Bob Hope Road, Miami, Florida 33136-1494
