

Born in New York, and raised in Long Island, Mr. Dillon lived in Haworth, NJ for 40 years before moving to Toms River, NJ 6 years ago.
He served in the Army Air Corps during W.W.II. He worked for New York Telephone for 45 years retiring in 1984.
Wallace was pre-deceased by his two brothers Edward and Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife Claire of 57 years, two sons Michael A. of Fort Lee, NJ; Patrick and his wife Jane of Absecon, NJ; two daughters Maureen and her husband Gary Baletti of Wall, NJ; Lorraine Slocum and her Fiancé Anthony Spina of West Orange, NJ; and five grandchildren Erin, Brian, Colleen, Alyssa, and Greg.
Visitation will be held Sunday February 6th from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Lukes Roman Catholic Church, Monday February 7th at 9:15 am 1674 Old Freehold Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Interment will follow Brig, Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
