

Walter E. Ostrowski, age 71, of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. He was born in Kingston, PA on January 1, 1941, and had been a Jackson resident for the last 49 years. Walter was employed with Ford Motor Company in Edison, NJ for 34 years before retiring as an office manager. He was a devoted fan of the Washington Redskins, a technology enthusiast, and a man who loved spending time with his entire family. Son of the late Walter and Rose Ostrowski and brother of the late Richard Ostrowski, Walter is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Patricia (Morris) Ostrowski; eight children, Walter Ostrowski, Andrew Ostrowski, Debby Mooney and her husband Michael, Diane Lage and her husband Robert, David Ostrowski and his companion Michele; Jean Marie Ostrowski, Ruth Ostrowski and her fiancé Robert, and Matthew Ostrowski and his companion Lisa; two sisters Ruth Smith and Rosanne Ostrowski; a brother Jack Ostrowski and his wife Donna; a sister-in-law, Lana Ostrowski; seven grandchildren, Bobby, Shannon, Johnny, Robert Michael, Ryan, Allyssa and Matty; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701.
