

Wayne Allen Dickenson of Manalapan, New Jersey, formerly of Jackson, passed away on June 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted husband, father, and local business owner, Wayne leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and unwavering love for those around him.
Born on July 10, 1964, to the late Allen and Barbara Dickenson, Wayne was raised in Lakewood, New Jersey. He graduated from Lakewood High School and later earned his bachelor's degree from Georgian Court University. Wayne spent many happy years in Jackson with his beloved wife, Colleen, where together they raised their family before recently moving to Manalapan.
Wayne was the proud owner and operator of Berry Fresh Farms, Berry Fresh Too, and Scary Rotten Farms, businesses to which he devoted countless hours and dedication. Through his work, he built lasting relationships and treated customers, employees, and friends as though they were family.
Known for his kind heart, selflessness, and generosity, Wayne touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the legendary rock band KISS. A lifelong lover of rock and roll music, Wayne especially cherished his guitar lessons, often referring to them as his "therapy." He also enjoyed snowboarding, biking, and spending time outdoors. Above all else, Wayne treasured every moment spent with his family.
Wayne is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Colleen; his loving children, Deven, Dylan, and Makayla; his stepbrother, Chris Dierolf (Angie), many devoted family & friends and his many adored cats. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Ocean of Love Toms River NJ in Wayne's memory.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Wayne's life at a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at D'Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood, New Jersey 08701. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m.
