William was born in Lakewood, NJ on February 24, 1933, and he was a lifelong resident. Bill was an Army Veteran and after the Army he made his living as a plumber. He loved his family, baseball - especially the NY Mets, and he loved spending summers at his home on Cole's Pond Vermont.
He will be greatly missed.
Son of Arlington and Mabel Work. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years Gloria June and his daughter Debbie. Bill is survived by his children, Joy Tabler and her husband Donald, Allan Work and his wife Lisa, and Todd Work; two siblings, Shirley Meyer and Frank Work; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren all of whom he loved dearly.
All Arrangements are private and have been entrusted into the care of the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ, 08701, and will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to Ocean County Chapter of the ARC.
