Andrew G Henderson Sr

Andrew G. Henderson, affectionately called "Big Drew", was born to Earl & Elzina Henderson, on March 27, 1940 in Weeks Island, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Lafayette Alexander Wilson. Andrew was an avid fisherman. He took pride in purchasing each of his children their first starter fishing polls. He loved the water and was well known for his fishing expertise. Andrew was educated on the LaMarque School System, served in the United States Army, and was active in the Galveston County Communities. He was baptized in Hitchcock at Galilee Baptist Church in Hitchcock. Andrew leaves to cherish his memories 7 children; Andrew Henderson, Jr.; Dennis (Nikki) Henderson; Jacquelyn Renee Henderson, Adrian Dale (Marie) Henderson of Texas City; Andrea Michelle (Datra) Henderson-Sanders of Dickinson; Myrtis Young & Drew Young of Texas City; his sisters, Delores Wilson of Winston Salem, North Carolina and Doris Caldwell of Hitchcock; one brother, Whitney (Brenda) Henderson of Houston, a devoted friend, May Pearl Jones, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
