Though we met in college your energy made me feel like we had grown up together! Things definitely haven't been the same bro but I appreciate the memories I have to cherish. From the huge meal we prepared for the Fam , the out of the blue party’s we threw at the grove, late night rides, all the talks and support you showed me while I was trying to grow my business. All I can keep saying is thank you bro. Our last convo you were getting on me because you never got your delivery of tacos from me 🤣 knowing food is the one thing you lived by. When we first met you always talked about that red civic and your son, and for someone that had the coolest rides you never liked to drive 🤣.  There was always positivity from you no matter the circumstances or the  situation. You are an inspiration and stopping is not an option was always your attitude.

the MAN , the MYTH , the LEGEND. I often sit down at night, and look at old snaps and messages you use to send me . Man this might be the toughest pill I ever had to swallow. I remember the first time I met Blake at Sam Houston in 2016. Blake seen my g-county shirt and asked me “say bro you from the county” I said yeah . Then blake said “lock my number in lil bro , it’s not to many of us that make it this far”. Blake taught me the game during college. The one that always stuck with me was “get a female in every class to help you with your homework” and I been finesse gang John Wayne ever since !!!  Love you big bro . And I promise your name will always live on #suaveelifestyle

Everyone's favorite cousin on campus!(: Thankful Dasia gave us a probate to go to because we were both too CEO to go through lol. Blake and I used to stay up all night watching probate fail videos on YouTube and laugh until our sides hurt.

This is how I'll remember us!
Good looking, as you always said. In a different state, as we always were. Up to no good, because we could afford the consequences. Eating like a king and queen should, because we weren't born average. Most importantly, putting family first and loving each other out loud. My cousin, I love you forever!

Blake was a CLOWN lol, I will never forget post grad when Blake used to come stay with me a couple days a week in Huntsville and jokingly became our 3rd roommate. My upstairs neighbors were always so loud. One night Blake, roomie Becca and I were having dinner and upstairs they were being so disruptive. Blake did not play when it came to enjoying his feasts lol so in true Blake fashion he got up and went upstairs to get onto them. When they opened the door, he told them, "they were too d*mn big to be living on the 3rd floor!" We laughed so hard that night because he was serious. I'll always remember his ugly laugh and our time together.

Not a day goes by Blake! It is still so unreal. But I want to thank you for the friendship we had. The talks are ones I could use these days. I have yet to fuss or be fussed at by anyone like we did and I highly doubt it will ever happen again. 🥹 I know you are at peace and smiling down because you made your mark. Did all you set out to do and you made everyone proud. Continue to get your rest B and keep watching over us. I love you and I miss you!

To Blake, my nephew, my 1st baby...so proud your mom allowed me to pick your middle name.. hope you liked it😊....and so blessed to have you in my life. You will never know how much I love and miss you. So many many memories I have... your laugh, smile, how loud you could be🤣, trips to SHSU, you letting me roll that slick hair as a baby 😂, but more importantly the love you had for your lil cousin (I swear you yelled the loudest at his graduation)!! And the advise you gave and time you took for him and auntie if needed. We love you always nephew!! One of my favorite, most memorable memories of Blake was being able to watch him play at his Senior night game at the stadium in LM. It was freezing cold and I had to be about 12 years old at the time. That game, my father, (who was one of the band directors) asked Blake to make sure that I was ok at all times. Blake immediately noticed that I was uncomfortably cold and very sick towards the end of the game, so he took off his band jacket, gave it to me and and just held me until It was time for him to play again. He didn’t let nobody touch nor talk to me.  By the end of the game, when it was time to go, I was able to witness him call out “220” for the last time and watched him cry with all of his brothers. I immediately ran over to hug him because I came to the realization that his era had officially come to an end. The compassion, love, and carefulness that he carried  will always live with me. He taught me how to never count anyone out, and how to always live like everyday is my last. I think about him all the time and I just know that he’s going to illuminate the paths of everyone connected to him. Live as peacefully as you can on this mama Kim. I've been avoiding doing this for a while. I wish there were more pictures and videos...but I've still got YEARS of texts to go through when I miss you most. Blake was one of the only people I could talk to everyday and it seem like we hadn't talked in months - there was always another story to tell. He always had a way of knowing just what to say, even when I was being difficult. 
Blake was always the first one to celebrate with you, even if it was something small. He could take the worst situation and turn it into a party. I'm so grateful that I got to call him my friend. Until next time ....

We didn’t have much pictures, we shared a lot of videos together more than anything and that’s a memory that I will forever cherish… I miss you all of the time, I think of you all of the time. I still get upset with myself when I think about how much time I thought we had on our hands. I will always miss our late night drives… you stopping to look for food… us doing donuts in parking lots… seeing how fast our cars would go against each other. You were the perfect vibe… you were the perfect friend. I miss and love you Blake AKA (Blakey-). 

Blake I love and miss you so much man! The memories we created I’ll always cherish. You’ve taught me so much that you don’t even know! Wouldn’t even know how to drive stick if it wasn’t for you. It’s Suavee for Life and I already know you’re cutting up still as happy as ever..  not a day goes by that I don’t think about you, and I’m just thankful I was able to experience a soul like yours .

Who would have ever thought my passion would be the drive behind the purpose of our friendfamilyship lol. You taught me sooo much, you stayed on me about sooo many things and for that I love you. It was a privilege to have known you the way I did. A beautiful soul inside and out. I love you beyond words. 

It was an honor being a part of Blake’s live. From the first day of band camp to the very last football game we marched together. He wasn’t just a friend in my eyes, Blake will forever be my brother.  I will always cherish the memories we encountered and know that he’ll forever be a reason that i am the man i am today. 2-2-0 Forever💙 

Blake gone do Blake was an acronym for his charge to life. I will remember our first visit to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles ...Kim,Blake and my family had a great time.

Bird, whenever i think of you I’ll always picture the little bright eyed boy with a smile that could light up any room pulling his suitcase full of hot wheel cars. I would go to grandma Lillie’s & aunt Massie’s to get away from my annoying little siblings but as soon as I got there I always made sure your Nanna went picked you up too! I send my sincere condolences to the family. I remember Blake coming to my parents house to play with my sister, Kim, when they were kids. Blake will be truly missed. I pray for the families strength during this time.

Unfortunately because of the time difference I wasn’t able to get the purchase to go threw . But one of those late night phones i will never forget from him. 

I’ve been having the hardest time trying to find the words to say.  I met you as Jalen’s first friend , and a friend to Cam, Michael , Rochon , and my other nephews and cousins who visited your “ Mrs. Hurst”  on Nightingale. Mrs. Hurst certainly saw you as one of her own. She was always concerned about your health. Because of those connections I guess I included you as a nephew and saw you as “ one of the boys” too. I watched you grow from being the cool kid on the block to become an outstanding, accomplished  young man.  Forever in our hearts.  Rest Well  Blake.

Blake was a great kid and a wonderful musician.  He couldn't wait for me to pull out my sticks in practice, because he knew that he could be ahead of others when this happened. I only knew Blake for a short while, and what I knew about him was that he was a very respectful person, always ready to do what he can for you. He loved his family very much. He and his granny would have discussions about the Bible, he knew he could ask her anything and she would tell him. May Jehovah comfort and strengthen you.
