Caprina Anna Thomas was born to Willie Faye Parker and Tyler Thomas, Sr. in Galveston, Texas. Caprina was educated in the public schools of Texas City, she was active with the TC Volleyball Team and was a 1985 graduate of Texas City High School. Caprina was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Texas City under the pastorate of Rev. Larry Johnson. She was formerly employed at the Gulf Greyhound Park and as a Aide with Home Health. Preceded in death by her father, Tyler Thomas, Jr., she leaves cherished memories in the hearts of her daughter, Vernisha Spencer; her mother, Faye Thomas; sisters, Denise Brown, Novita Sanders, Patricia Fisher, Tyrice Thomas-Lawrence and Twanta Johnson; brothers, Tyler Thomas, Jr. and Patrick Thomas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
