

Cedric Allen Haynes was born May 29, 1964 to the late Gertie Mae Haynes. He was a graduate of La Marque High School in 1982; He graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK; RETS Electronic Institute of Houston; and College of the Mainland Electronic Program. Cedric accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rec. M. C. Bridges at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in Texas City. He later became a member of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church in (East) Texas City under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Robert Maxey. Cedric worked at WalMart for 12 years and later ran a Lawn Service with his friend Ed. Cedric loved to BBQ for family gatherings, he traveled and took cruises all over the world; fishing, reading and most of all, running errands for the family. The joy of Cedric's life was spending time playing and wrestling with his favorite nephew, Zachary. Uncle Ced we'll miss you. On Saturday, June 22, 2013, Cedric departed this earthly life. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gertie Mae Haynes; step-father, Jimmie Lee Burrell; grandparents, Earl and Ella Mae Haynes; aunt, Versa Lee Haynes and uncle, Charles Leon Haynes. Left to cherish memories of his life are his aunt/mother, Ruby Haynes of Texas City, TX; aunts, Betty Haynes Bookman (Alvin), Mary Haynes Johnson both of Texas City, TX and Ruthie Haynes of West Columbia, TX; uncle, James Haynes (Willie Mae) of Augusta, GA; sister, Sheila Eirven Adams (Sammie) of Houston, TX; brother, Robert DeAndre' Eirven of Texas City, TX; his favorite nephew, Zachary Robert Adams of Houston, TX; a special friend, Freda Jackson of Texas City, TX; cousins, Wanda Lawton (Carey) of Augusta, GA and Rushone Johnican of West Columbia, TX; great-uncles, Edgar Haynes (Luchia), V. H. Haynes (Helen) of Texas City, TX and Rev. V. A. Haynes (Bettye) of Huntsville, TX; great-aunts, Pearline Birdwell, Etta Butler and Easrsie Archie all of Texas City, TX;and a host of cousins, family members and friends.
