Clyde Brian Bruton Sr

Clyde B. Bruton, Sr., (Bubbee), was born October 2, 1954, in Galveston, Texas to the late Clyde and Tressie Bruton. He departed this life Thursday, October 16, 2014, at his home. At an early age, he joined Hunter Chapel CME Church where he remained a faithful member until his health failed. He was a loyal and active member of the Usher Board, Male Chorus and Trustee Board. He was employed with the City of Houston as a Utility Worker. Clyde was a 1973 graduate of La Marque High School. He also attended Laney College in Oakland, California. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Tressie Bruton. He will be remembered in the hearts and minds of his wife, Marsha; his children, Clyde B. Bruton, Jr., Alaya Lewis (Myron), Mark Simon, and Sommer Cheatham (Robert); his sisters, Adonis Bruton, Barbara Carraway, Rhonda Alcorn (Louis), and Vanessa Hearne; grandchildren, Roderick Daniels, Jr., Markelle Simon, Caleb Simon, Kaiden Simon, Mariah Simon, Clyde Bruton, III, Chase Bruton, Mya Lewis, Meagan Lewis, Car'Syn Bruton, Carleigh Bruton, Jordon Trotter, Aaliyah Griffin; long time friends, Mickey Britton and Otis Byrdlon; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
