Diane Elisha Jackson

Diane Elisha Jackson was born February 9, 1964 in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was born to the union of the late Iva Broussard Jackson and Johnny Jackson, Sr. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized by her father, Rev. Willie Williams at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She departed life on October 27, 2015 at Hospice. "Mom", "Nanny", and "Diane", as she was affectionately known, would liven up the room once she arrived. She always greeted everyone with her warm, beautiful smile. She was a mother, a sister, and aunt who had a big heart and was kind in spirit. Her spirit was bubbly and her hearty laugh was contagious. She is survived by her daughter, Kayla Marie Jackson and grandson; her son, Michael Joseph Jackson; one sister, Patricia Ann Jackson of Pearland; and three brothers: Johnny Jackson, Jr., Bradley Jackson, and Mark Jackson of Friendswood.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Iva and Johnny Jackson, Sr., maternal grandparents, and fraternal grandparents.
