Doris Jean Martin Brown

Doris Jean Martin Brown was born September 4, 1944 in Galveston, Texas to Morris Martin Sr. and Rosa Lee Hayes Martin. She was educated in the public schools of Dickinson, Texas and was a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. Doris worked on the NASA Site for forty two years. She came to God at an early age at Mount Olive Baptist Church and was a loyal member until her death. Doris passed from this earthly life on August 21, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Marcellus Brown Sr. Left to cherish memories of her life are her children, Anthony Craig Martin (Cassandra), Marcellus Brown Jr. (Andrea); step-daughters, Cathy Barb (Mike), Stacy Brown and Tanya Brown all of Dickinson, Texas; her sisters and brother, Vivian L. Martin, Stella Wheeler, Ella Douglas, Morris Martin Jr. (Antinell), Patricia Stephens, Caroline Stevenson (Darwin) and Deborah Martin. She also leaves to cherish her memory ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
