

Eugene Del Murray II, fondly know as "Dirty Red", was born June 4, 1971 to the union of Eugene Del Murray Sr. and Mary Gaddis Murray. He was educated in the public schools of Houston, Texas, attending Barbara Jordan Magnet School and Jesse H. Jones High School graduating in 1988. He attended Frazier Barber College in Houston and was a Master Barber College. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and united with the church. He was a former member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Texas City under the leadership of the late Rev. G. W. Singleton, Jr. and Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church in Hitchcock under the pastorate of Rev. William L. Randall, Jr. Eugene worked as a Barber and a Heavy Equipment Operator in Houston. He was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew and loved him. Eugene departed this earthly life on August 8, 2015 in Houston, Texas at the age of 44. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary E. Murray; his grandparents, Mobilia and Willie "Buddy" Gaddis and M. C. Murray; and two sisters, Malisha M. Viney and Frankie Gaddis Wallace. He leaves his legacy in the hearts of his father, Eugene Del "Sparetire" Murray Sr.; his sons, Eugene Del "Gene" Murray III, Tevin "T-Bone" Gamble, Elishua Del "Lil Del" Murray, Exzavier Denzel "Zay" Murray, Isaac M. C. "M.C." Murray and Jacobi Devante Nelson; his brothers, Earl D. Murray and Kalvin Lee Viney; his grandmother, Claudine Murray; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends.
