Gerald Charles Joiner was born July 19, 1956. He departed this life on January 21, 2014 in Irving, Texas. Gerald was a graduate of La Marque High School Class of 1974. He worked for Medical Center of Arlington and was heavily involved at Emeritus Independent Living Center where he resided. Gerald is preceded in death by his by his mother, Mildred Joiner and brother, Dempsey Joiner. He is survived by his son, Adam Joiner, daughter, Monica Joiner, granddaughter, Jordyn Liddell; father, Rev. Ellison Joiner, Jr.; sisters, Sigrid Glover, Gisele Joiner and Deirdri Joiner; brothers, Jerome Joiner and Ellison Joiner, III; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members. Services were held at Aria Irving Chapel on January 25, 2014 in Irving, Texas.
