Gloria Jean McDaniel

Gloria Jean McDaniel was born December 1, 1950 in Albany, New York to Marietta and Sayles Casey. She graduated from Lansingburgh High School in 1966 after which she enlisted in the United States Air Force serving four years until her honorable discharge. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marietta and Sayles Casey and sister-in-law, Deborah McDaniel. She attended the Living Word Community of Faith Church in Hitchcock, Texas until her health failed, under the guidance of Pastor Steve Taylor. Gloria passed into her eternal rest on Monday, December 10, 2012 at her home with her loved ones by her bedside. She leaves to cherish memories of her life: her husband of 36 years, Matthew McDaniel Jr.; sons, Nicholas (Erica) Casey and Christopher McDaniel; daughter, LaSundra McDaniel; sisters, Mary Sue McCall, Patricia (Charles) Bechand, Janice (Shawn) Lajeunesse, Marquerite (Dan) Roseberger and Frances (Robert) Lockrow; brothers, Sayles (Maria) Casey and William (Tina) Casey; herloving grandchildren, Amber, Nicholas Jr., Tierra, Dylan, Chrishauna, Destiny, Brayden and Colvin; her mother and father-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Matthew McDaniel, Sr.; extended family, sisters-in-law, Shirley McDaniel and Sharon (Mike) Thibodeaux; brother-in-law, Dennis (Rose) McDaniel; special friends, Emily Dunlap of Las Vegas, Willia Simon and Chandra Richardson; a special nephew, Samuel "Puncho" Jenkins; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
