

On October 12, 1955, a blessed event took place . A new baby girl, Jeannette Williams born to Willie Robinson and Alma Williams in Greenville, Mississippi. At an early age she was baptized and became a member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church of Greenville, MS. Jeannette was educated in the Greenville Independent School District, and graduated with the Greenville High School class of 1974, and in her junior years she was a member of the Coleman High Basket Ball team. She furthered her education by attending Delta State University, and the College of the Mainland. Jeannette was a hard worker. During her life time, she for the U S Gypsum Mill in Greenville Ms. In 1982, she and her family moved to Galveston, Texas where she was a member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church, and later united with the Gospel Temple Church of God in Christ. In 1984 she joined in Holy matrimony with Louis Holloway Sr. Jeannette also worked for Texas Department of Human Services for 28 plus years before retiring. In 2013 she decided to go back to work, with Texas Department of Public Safety and Coalition of Black Democrates of Galveston County until her health began to fail. Jeannette was a people person. She loved her husband, children and family, and made sure she kept up with them no matter how far away they were. Jeannette was a giver always making sure everyone had gifts and presents for the holidays, and not expecting anything in return. Like most women Jeannette like to shop, but instead of shopping with money she enjoyed shopping with coupons earning her the title "The Coupon Queen". On Monday October 27th 2014 after a long COURAGOUS battle Jeannette was called home to be with our Lord. Preceded in death by She is preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Lee Warner, Jr.; son-in-law, Anthony Wright Sr., step-father, William Randall, Sr.; and brother-in-law, Charles A. Brown Sr. Mrs. Holloway will forever live on in the hearts of her devoted husband, Louis A. Holloway Sr.; her parents, Alma Randall and Willie B. Robinson; her children, Angela Williams Wright, Quinterrance "The Favorite" Williams (LaTya) and Louis "Laie" Holloway Jr.; six siblings, Doris Harris, Barbara Price Brown, Tiffany Robinson, Rowena Alford, Haley Poindexter and Michael Gibbs; 6 grandchildren, Dominique Webb, Murphy J. Smith, Daequan Jones, Anthony Wright, Jr.,Amani Williams, Terriya Williams, Tyvarian Lane and Jatyrian Lane; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
