Jessica S. Nunez

Our beloved Jessica Shanea "Nana" Nunez, 23, peacefully departed this life Thursday December 27, 2012 in her home. Jessica was born January 31, 1989 in Galveston Texas to her parents Martha Palmer and Henry Nunez Jr. both of Dickinson, Tx. Jessica was educated in Dickinson public schools. She Graduated from Dickinson High School and went on to further her education at Remington College- Houston Southeast Campus there she studied Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech and EKG. Before taking ill Jessica made the President's List and achieved a grade point average of 4.0. Although so young, Jessica a phenomenal young woman, her kind, loving caring heart made a huge impact on so many people. Her devotion to her family and friends was extraordinary. Jessica accepted Christ and was a strong believer in her faith, which faith is what kept her going. She truly was a fighter and words can't explain how she will be missed dearly; however her memories will forever live on in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry Nunez Sr., Lou Ella Nunez great grandparents Eligah Sr and Pertelle Hagler, Will and Ella Palmer also her uncle Keith Chambers Sr. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving and devoted mother Martha Palmer, her father Henry Nunez, one sister Desiree Palmer her pride and joy nephew Jaiden Hill and soon to be niece Riley "Jay", her brother Torrad Braxton. Her loyal family left to cherish her beautiful memory: her grandmother Carolyn Palmer, grandfather George "Bill" Palmer (Dorothy) her uncle's Gregory Palmer and Anthony Nunez her aunts Lisa Palmer, Lynn Palmer, Jackie Chambers, Tracey Palmer, Cheryl Palmer, Sue Nunez, Lynn Wooten, Carla May and Erica Nunn. Also left to cherish her memory is a host of cousin's faithful friends Jessica Schaffer and Harlquesta Hale and other close friends.
