

Patricia Ann Turner passed away peacefully on July 16, 2012. She was born on March 30, 1956 to Mary Francis and Willie Turner Sr. in Galveston, Texas at John Sealy Hospital. She was the sixth child born out of nine children. Ms. Turner received her high school diploma in 1974 from Hitchcock High School. She attended Texas Southern University and completed her junior year of studies. Ms. Turner was employed with the United States Postal Service for nearly 32 years until her untimely death. She also served as an active member on the Hitchcock ISD school board for 19 years. "Pat" Turner, as she was known to everyone who knew her, will be truly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary Francis and Willie Turner Sr., her sister Ethel Lee Moore, and brothers Robert and Edward Turner. She leaves to cherish her memories: her three children, Tangye Lundy, Robert Lundy (Joneka), and Mary Turner; her brothers, Willie Turner Jr. (Evelyn), Anthony Turner Sr. (Laurie), Clifford Turner (Tonia), Charles Turner Sr. (Eugenia), Joseph Turner (Charlotte); her nieces Bridget Moore, Tamika Moore, Angel Moore, Kristina Polk, Nakeisha Turner, Laurin Turner, NaQuitha Turner, Shanice Turner, Erlinda Nelson, Deanna Turner, Renisha Johnson, Chareshia Turner, Jada Turner, Erica Turner; her nephews, Lionel Turner, Brian Willis, Kendrick Turner, Anthony Turner Jr., Dorian Nelson, Charles Turner Jr., Diandre Taylor, Donovan Turner; Long time family members Mary Randle-Turner, Sandra McDonald- Turner, Ruth Nelson- Turner and Norma Turner; Special acknowledgement to aunts Ernestine Moore, Helen Moore, and Bernice Boseman; Special acknowledgement to cousins Claudine Oliver and Melba Turner; Special acknowledgement to friends Annetta Walker, Celeste Williams, Kathy Burks, Rochelle Randle, Joslynn Terrell, Brenda Feagins, Stephanie Coleman, Shirley Stephens, and Ronnie Wiltz; and special acknowledgements to the staff of TIRR Memorial Hermann and the River Oaks Post Office Staff and Co-Workers; and to a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
