Pearl Jackson Lee died peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2012 at home at the age of 86. She was born on January 29, 1926 in Gray, Louisiana to the parents of George and Pearlie Jackson who both are now deceased. Pearl Lee was one of nine children,all of whom preceed her in death. In her early twenties Pearl met her beloved husband Alcide Lee, they married February 26, 1949 and lived happily for 63 years. Pearl and Alcide Lee moved to La Marque, Tx and later moved to Dickinson, Tx in 1967 where they made their homestead. She served at Greater Bell Zion Baptist Church for 51 years on the usher board and remained a faithful loyal member until she became ill.
