What a gentleman. 

As time goes on I begin to greater understand the gravity of this loss. It takes a while to sink in sometimes. I have been eternally blessed to know my Uncle Jr. and I will forever miss his warmth, laughs, and wisdom. There really aren’t  enough words to speak to his kindness and love. 
People like him are one in a million and I’m just one of the the lucky ones for being able to experience that.

To know him is to love him! The most mild mannered, kind, supportive  uncle a girl could ask for. His life was an open book, which represented humility, love and countless other characteristics of Christ. I will miss you Uncle Jr.… but will forever cherish the wisdom you shared.

My sincere condolences to my sister in love,  Carra my niece Andrea and husband Brian , my great nephew Brady, I know you guys are missing jr.(Richard. Dad, and papa) just as much as I and family, He was truly a big brother to me and Margaret, he will forever be in my (our) hearts, such a honorable, strong, lovable brother, jr. I miss you so much but I know you are in a better place with all of our other siblings, parents and dear family, Rest easy big brother,I love you.💋💋

Richard Jr and I went through chemo together even sharing a room together for a treatment. This month we are 9 years cancer free. He was such a quiet man only talking when necessary. He will truly be missed but he’s one of our soldiers that has gone on to his glory. I know he’s resting in peace. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Richard and I were childhood friends/ neighbors in South Acres( across the street from each other). Our friendship was a lifetime of joy. 
Sometimes we could stand in our garages and it would be raining one his side or mine and be dry on the other side. So many good times. 
When I was told about his passing I just thought another friend to say goodbye. I am sad to say good bye dear friend. But thankful to God for the memories.
