Samoine Rhenae Prince

Samoine Rhenae Prince, a resident of La Marque, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at CHRISTUS St. John Hospital in Nassau Bay, Texas at 44 years of age. Samoine was born August 25, 1967. She graduated from Galveston Ball High School with the Class of 1985 and began volunteering and working in various positions, while building and supporting her family. Samoine retired from Moody Gardens Gift Shop after 14 years of service in Retail Management. She relocated to La Marque, Texas after Hurricane Ike at which time she continued her service by working and volunteering her time to help individuals with disabilities in Galveston County. She was employed as Assistant Director at Vocational Guidance Service. Samoine was preceded in death by her uncle and godfather, Roger Gabriel of LaPlace, Louisiana. Samoine is survived by her mother, Shirley Terrell of Texas City, Texas; one sister, Carmalita Gipson of Houston, Texas; one brother, Sheron Terrell of La Marque, Texas; three sons, Devin Florence of San Diego, California, Christopher Walker of Pearland, Texas and Clarence Walker III of Pearland, Texas; one grandson, Jayden Florence of San Diego, California; a niece, A'rreal Martin of Houston, Texas; nephew, Isreal Martin of Houston, Texas; a very special friend, Daniel Smith of Texas City, Texas and a host of extended family and close friends.
