On Friday the 21st of October our beloved mother Verlena Johnson went home to be with our lord and savior Jesus Christ. She was blessed to have 5 wonderful children and was a member of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her children. Obie (Linda) Johnson, Anthony Johnson,Clarence Johnson,Cynthia Bradford and Mary Douglas. Her loving sisters Brenda Meyers and Amy Brows brother Homer Bailey a host of nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
A visitation for Verlena will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:55 AM at FELLOWSHIP MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 312 SOUTH ROSE ST, TEXAS CITY, TX 77591, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
