

On April 22, 1966 a son was born to W. Victor Williams Sr. and Bettye Jean Hobbs Williams. They named their son, W. Victor Williams Jr. Vic was educated in the public schools of La Marque, Texas and was a 1984 graduate of La Marque High School where he was active in Cougar Sports. Being reared in a Christian home, Vic was baptized at an early age in the family church, Faith United Methodist Church of Dickinson where he served actively in the youth department. He was also active with the Little League Sports in Texas City. Vic loved life and he loved his family. There are many happy memories of family trips to and from Colorado; attending the family reunions in Freeport and informal family gatherings at the family home. Vic was the proud father of Alphonse "Fonz" and Victoria and the proud grandfather of Ambrielle Nicole Williams-Sellers, Meilani Arielle Williams and Myli Ann Williams. Vic was formerly employed with the City of Texas City; La Marque Independent School District and was presently employed in League City at Quality of Care where his presence and teaching abilities greatly helped those he taught. On Sunday, February 22, 2015, God called Vic home to rest. Upon his arrival he was greeted by his grandparents, Natka Winfield Hobbs, Obie Hobbs, Jr., Josephine Hobbs, Lillie Hobgood Williams and Herman Williams, Sr.; and the love of his life, his beloved mother, Bettye Jean Williams. Cherished memories of his life will forever linger in the hearts of his children, Alphonse "Fonz" Williams and wife, Jashaina Williams and Victoria Williams; his devoted father, W. Victor Williams Sr.; his sister, Jureka "Nikki" Williams; his brother, Corey Williams and sister-in-law, Christina Bronson Williams; his grandchildren, Ambrielle Nicole Williams-Sellers, Meilani Arielle Williams and Myli Ann Williams; nephew, Corey Williams Jr.; niece, Corynn Williams; aunts, Bettye Brown, Melba Williams, Alma Little and Arcola Williams; uncles, Herman Williams, Jr and Melvin Williams; great uncles and aunts, Jourman Hobbs, Evelyn Hobgood Wilson, Leonard Hobgood and Gloria Hobgood; and a host of loving family members, extended family members , co-workers, students, friends and neighbors.
